Teaching
I adore talking about music, the piano, and how to play it, especially in a pedagogical setting. I have taught all ages, from young kids, to teenagers, to adults, and of various levels, from absolute beginners, to high intermediate.
My personal focus is in the classical tradition, but regardless of yours (jazz, pop, electronic), I can help you get started with the basics, and point you in the right direction once you reach an advanced enough level.
Finally, I bring with me a more Western approach to teaching, the way I learned having lived most of my life in America: I emphasize positive criticism, I am patient, and I strive most of all to teach you how to teach yourself.
